Internet shut down in July?

Supposedly the FBI will shut down hundreds of thousands of computers in July due to some virus, has anyone one else read or heard about this?

Not a conspiracy site just from my home page's news aggregate:

I must confess I'm afraid to do the "check and clean" computer link they show at the end of the article, as we all know, that's where this kinda stuff comes from...

Odd... Well, don't click on anything suspicious or go to unknown websites and you should be good. I think you would know if you're infected...

all of the links check out fine with McAfee (the antivirus software provided by cox communications) so I'd say you might as well check

YEEESSS! I'm not infected! Square was green.

Thought it was fake at first, but now that I see it on Yahoo I believe it.

Say somebody IS infected... Can't they just buy a new computer and fix it?
