I have only expierence with gibba, as i am more of a Drosera and Pinguicula guy. Gibba is the easiest aquatic in the world. Get a container that you plan to keep it in, and place about a spoon of peat moss into the water. Mix it up (it makes water acidic for the utric.) Add gibba and enjoy
it can be grown almost anywhere.
U. inflata is also very easy to grow in rainwater; it doesn't seem to require any special conditions. I find it grows too fast, so have to keep removing all the dead plant material.
