I wasn't Really planning This, But...

Before dormancy set in I decided to take backup leaf cuttings of VFT's, pings, D. binata, D. fillformis, and gemmae and grow them under lights. This way they are kept in growth mode throughout the winter and just in case they parent plants die, I'll at least have something to keep them going. Here's the general idea:

If everything pulls through it looks like you will have alot of plants to trade off.

It's part the trades and part having something alive, in case something bad happens.
 
Stick to tropicals! Then you don't have to worry so much!
