I hate life

So I got up this morning and found a roach squirming its way out of the media in my U. reniformis pot. The little bastard ATE my plant. I smashed the life out of him (with a hammer) but it didn't make me feel much better. A whole year invested in that seedling and to lose it to a roach

I am buying the biggest can of bugspray I can find and fumigation my house!!

Yes I am keeping the pot but the fact that the little twit was burrowing out of the media makes me think it ate all it could find. I am keeping my fingers crossed but...
