How old?

What is the longest anyone has had one plant? What is the oldest plant anyone has? I am curious to know how long it takes to get those gorgeous pots of say vfts to grow right. I am in my first year of cps and want to know how long it may take to get plants of that nature. any before and after pics would be a neat additon...

The oldest one I have would probably be a vft bulb that I just received, it's at least 10 years old. The rhizome is about an inch and a half wide. It's dormant at the moment, so i'll have to let you know what it looks like awake.

Other than that, i've only been really growing for maybe 6 months now, and in that time some of the plants that I have have almost fully filled out there pots.

One day soon I hope to have pics.

Well, I haven't had mine that long, but they can grow a significant amount in only a year.  Here is a link to my post where I have pictures before and after 14 or so months. (Unfortunately, I don't think mine are anything special). I've since removed the dead leaves and added some moss for appearance sakes. Maybe I'll update my pics.

Plant Growth

I think once they hit about 4-5 years old they will produce the results you are looking for.  I'm not quite sure how old mine are (got them from Petflytrap.com), but I'm guessing they are 3 years old.
