How much damage?

The gracilis which I was having marvellous plans to propogate fell out of its pot today, along with all its soil and roots. Some pitchers were cut off in the process.

I lost quite a bit of soil in the process, but I managed to cover the roots with the soil left.

What damage do u think has been done, apart from the severed pitchers and cut leaves. Do I need to do anything?

To me this seems an ideal opportunity to take cuttings since it is already unpotted. Since you will already be taking cuttings, the ripped pitchers and leaves won't matter as much.

Well, actually the plant, in its present state, doesn't look like it's big enough for any cuttings... what's ur opinion of me covering its roots, damage, etc?

I have had nep pots fall over a from storms and kids throwing rocks at my pots. Make the same mix that you had before for the nep. The place the mix in the pot and water it. Water more then you did in the past and try to add Superthriev in the water, so if you had any damaged roots they would get better. The pitchers cutting open thats ok, but cut the pitcher off after it gets brown, same for the leafs. Make sure the humidity is high same with the temps. After watering for one week a little every day see if anything inproves if not water ones a week with superthriev.

I wouldn't worry too much. Gracilis is one tough plant. I abused mine quite badly when I didn't yet know how to take care of it, and it grew and pitchered anyway. Give it two or three weeks, and it will be just fine!
