Hi everyone, an friend of mine recommended I sign up here. I started my collection this summer after I moved down here from Western, NY. I found it striking and dissapointing that eventhough several Sarracenia cultivars were developed in nearby Charlotte, there is a paucity of carnverous plant nurseries here in NC. I am sad that I already have to winterize my Sarracenia and traps.
Wishlist:
After watching redfern natural history on youtube I would love to find a Nepenthese ampullaria. I would also like a very dark/black pitcher plant. Cephalotus pitchers are also stunning.
My collection so far includes small plants of the following:
Nepenthes “Suki”
Nepenthes spectabilis x aristolochioides BE-3663
Nepenthes diatas
Nepenthes ventricosa,
Nepenthes ramispina x reinwardtiana BE-3711
Sarracenia 'Judith Hindle’
Sarracenia 'Doodle Bug'
Sarracenia 'Dixie Lace'
Sarracenia leucophylla
Venus Flytrap 'Leo Songs Jaws'
Venus Flytrap 'Pink Venus'
Drosera micrantha
Drosera oreopodion
Pinguicula ehlersiae
Pinguicula gigantea
Are there any other Winston Salem CP enthusiasts out there?
