Did you know that it actually takes the earth 365.25 days to orbit the sun? Therefore, we must account for that .25 by having a full day added to our calendar every four years…

.25 X 4 = 1 day- Leap Day!

Happy leap year to everyone! :)

Does anyone know someone born on this day!?:jester:

Unless it is a century year that can't be divided by 400... Happy Leap Day. Do people born on February 29 typically celebrate on 2/28 or 3/1?

yea, my friend is 4 today. lol... guess how old really?

preaty awesome.

my friend's mom's friend just had her baby that sucks
happy leap day/year

i no some peeps born on the 29th...they switch year-to-year to keep it even! :)

whats a century year?

a century year is every 100 years (a century). like 100, 200, 2000, 2500... so on

So 1900 did not have a leap day, since it is not divisible by 400.

All this heavy math-theory is giving me a headache...... ;)

Well, i kinda got it was once every hundred years (;)), but...ok, so every hundred years, if the year is not divisible by 400, it's a century year? ? ?
