funny thing is, spiders creep me out.
 
What you have pictured is not venom. It is most likely coxal excretion. Tarantulas salivate from their "armpits" where the coxal glands are located. This fluid is used in digestion and possibly to excrete waste salts from the body. Its pretty common to see this type of "drooling" after a tarantula grooms itself. Tarantulas and other spiders don't frivolously waste venom.
 
Now that's just scary, to me.
