Greenhouse frog

What little information I could glean online suggests that they are good captives. Small and they skip the tadpole stage. I know of one person who kept 2(males) and he said they were pretty good captives in that they were easy to care for. He kept them in a 2 1/2 gallon tank and they "chirped" for him when he misted them. The only disadvantage would be that they are active mainly when it is dark and when it has just rained(or after you mist the tank). They were introduced inyo Florida(probably from Cuba) and are now quite common there. I'm not aware of anyone selling them...probably due to the fact that they are not all that interesting.

Any info or experience would be appreciated.

sci name is Eleutherodactylus planirostris

They apparently are also established in New Orleans, Southern Alabama, Georgia etc.
