gorwth tip $ leaf turns black

my talangensis's new leves are turning black and

they arent even open yet. what should i do??

its like 100 degrees and 70 degrees at night outside.

any ideas plz? :-(

Sit back and wait for it to die.

If the plant is kinda tall you can cut off all the black plus about 2 additional leaves, but you'd have to have a pretty old talangensis to be able to do that.
 
Um, you do know that talangensis is a highland plant right?
100 degrees is way to hot.
In my limited experience, when the growing point turns black the plant dies.

I would cut back the black parts, keep it in lower temperature range and provide good air circulation. My N. talangensis does not like high temperatures at all. You can use ice to help keep the temps lower than room temperature. I have an N. argentii doing the same thing, but the newest leaf is green.

I had one just like that, and i cut black part.:-(
use ice to keep temps low. hope your talangensis will fine.
 
you can try...but it has about a 10% cahnce of survival at absolute best...sorry to here that...

all my plants will black growing tips have died in a matter of days...hope yours pulls out...
