my new bical is doin something i havent encountered before. the young pitcher tendril is flimsy- almost like string. the pitcher itself is still firm, but upside down. is this normal for this species? it didnt have a rough trip to my house, and its only been here for like a week.

crap, sorry, wrong forum

That's what she said.

LMAO! I had to...

Auctually, it's because it's so new and it's (the tendril not necessarily the plant) probably dehydrated. Don't worry about it.

I'm not sure?

could it be getting not enough light? Or maybe not enough humidty, or possibly too much?

Hi, I've moved it for you.

mine did the same thing for the first pitcher, which came out a bit weird. After that the second pitcher it put out was fine (my avatar)

I would suspect shock from transportation and new environment. Give it time.

the tendril seems to be stiffening from the leaf on down. hope i get a nice pitcher out of it
