Hey all -
I'm sure a lot of you have seen the little icons in the address bar of browsers which go into your favorites list too (and if you have Firefox, then your quick links bar) and I always thought they were fun. Samples can be seen at... well anywhere - here are links to a few sites with them:
NY Times
Amazon.com
Wikipedia
Scarsdale Concours (A website I made so the icon's weak- haha)
Anyway... I always thought they were fun and added a little flavor to websites. Well I went ahead and made a sample quickly and here's how it turned out:
This is what it looks like in Firefox:
It would also go into the favorites and navigation bar below (if put there by the user) like the NYT icon below.
