That's a good question. I know for a fact that they are not red.
I recieved them from a college student where they grow them to study. He sent me a beaker full of them. I ask him what type they were and he had no idea. The teacher did not know either.
I have a picture on my website. If you can tell what they are let me know. I would guess that they are just typical.
