Drosera and S.Purpurea.

nepenthes gracilis

Nepenthes Specialist
What drosera would grow good along with S.Purpurea? I want one that will be somewhat vigorous and will not be overcome by the purpurea. Thanks Nep.G.

Rampup, it's difficult to imagine which sundew is suitable...if it's something low growing, it will be overcomed by purpurea...if it's taller, like capensis, then it probably will have to grow between the pitchers...

I'm assuming the pot is quite full with pitchers...

Cindy this is Nep.G. not Rampuppy. i have already found out a D. Rotundifolia or Capensis anyways thanks.

NG,

All I can say is that Drosera all like different conditions... so it's hard to say, but your going to find one that enjoys being water logged with your purps..

I would like to point out the obvious (I'm good at it! :) .. You probably would want to go with a temperate Drosera so you don't have to take it out of the pot for dormancy every season. Unless you remove them from the pots anyway, or keep them outside.
