Does anybody own the book "Insectivorous Plants" by Charles Darwin? It was mentioned in "The Savage Garden" and I was wondering if anybody owned that book. If you do have that book, I was wondering if you could tell me more about those experiments that he conducted. Like the experiment where he found that he could Paralyze the traps on the plant by making certain incitions on the plant. If you could, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm just curious about what other kinds of experiments he preformed and what the results were.

i haven't read it, nor do i own it...
i checked on amazon.com once, but they wanted around a hundred dollars for it.
i have done a little bit of searching on the web for it, though...

you can read it here for free!

enjoy!

You can also check your local library if they have a copy of that book, its a lot easier on the eyes to be reading in a book instead of on the monitor
