Yep, the neighborhood association(afformentioned troglodytes) do not permit greenhouses.

I grew up in the city (south side of Chicago) and now live in the country. I love raising my kids in the country. I wouldn't like to raise them in the same setting I grew up in. My wife is a born country girl. It has rubbed off on me.
