Do seedlings require dormancy?

Hi all, I read somewhere (can't remember where tho) that Sarrs seedlings do not require dormancy for up to 2-3 years!
Is this true?

If that is so, I'm going to get some seeds for myself since I live in a tropical climate and giving these guys dormancy can be quite troublesome, esp for little seedlings!

Yes, I believe that to be true. I have CP friends that have done it with success. I will be doing it the winter with selected seedlings that I have. Two years is the limit thought. Good luck and let us know how it goes. I will do the same.

Hi,

I think, it doesn't matter if you give them a dormancy or not in the first year. I have grown seedlings successfully with and without dormany. In the second year, i would recommend a dormancy.
