One of the new additions this year. S. 'Adrian Slack' finally adjusting to my conditions. It had a really rough start coming from Southern California in early spring this year.

Seems like your scorpiodies have caught some pretty big prey. It's always funny seeing a small plant with a big insect.

I love that Tattnal purp. Last winter nearly killed mine and I very nearly threw it out before it started showing some new growth.

NIce! 'Gotta ask - what is the type of the first flytrap?

That one is from the mixed seed you and I grew out so who knows. I like the pink teeth on some of the traps. I am seeing a lot of variance in the plants produced from that seed batch in color and trap size, but the seed was collected from a pool containing a hodgepodge of different varieties such as "typical", Red Dragon, B52, Colorado Giant, etc., as well as hybrids of such.

Example of the variance in seedlings:

I love the pubescent fat tubby pitchers on this thing. It needs a name but I am really bad at coming up with such things.

Your collection is absolutely breathtaking. Happy 6th year anniversary on TF! You have inspired me to begin a bog garden, on a much smaller scale that it's. At least for now!

Looked like winter skipped us here in the PNW this year, very mild compared to last winter…but then I woke up to this today:

The next three pics are last year's fall pitchers that are still looking decent

Overnight temps in my area are forecast to range between the low/mid 20’s (F) and mid 30’s the next couple weeks with daytime temps in the low to upper 40’s, brrrr.

it's nuts! do you suspect that new sarr growth will be impacted by the snow? my precocious black vein flava had already started showing legitimate pitcher growth this season and I was thinking about it this morning.

Not by the snow, but if temps continue in the 20's overnight for a few days in a row new started growth may be aborted. It will set the sarrs back a bit with having to start over, but otherwise they will be fine. If your sarrs remain covered by snow this will insulate them from being exposed to the freezing air and the new shoots may resume growth once temps warm up a bit. You may want to cover that BV flava or bring it inside if you don't want to start over with new growth. I would do the same with any recent new acquisitions from a greenhouse or warmer climate as well if you don't want them to be set back by this late season cold front.
