Disitlled H20?

When I ordered my sundew from petflytrap.com It said to use distilled water to water it, is it OK if I get lazy and use tap water? Thanks! -Bryan

An occasional drink of tap water is not going to kill it, but I would only use it in an emergency. Also, not all tap water is the same. So depending on how pure your tap water is will influence the effects it will have.

Do yourself (and your plant) a favor... distilled, rain, or RO water only.

Will my plant be OK? I have been using tap water for about 1 week.

It will probably be ok if you flush it out with distilled or rain water and then continue to use that. If it looks ok now that's a very good sign.

I think a lot depends on what your tap water is like, I live in a soft water area and my plants have been fine on tap water (two years now) but I wouldn't risk it if I moved to where the water was hard. I also let the chlorine evaporate off before using the water.

hope you are in a soft water area, then you should be Ok
