Digital Cameras For Dummies

its correct other than they dont say that if your using the landscape preset you cant adjust the F-stop or shutter speed in almost all DSLR's for that you have to switch it to manual mode.....other than that the tutorial is fine.....
 
Works for me, being a real amateur at taking decent pictures.
 
practice.....lots of practice......also if yah can get to a Barnes & Nobel, Hastings, or Borders head over to the magazine racks.......there are a handful of magazines by the same publishing company out of the UK with titles such as Practical Photography, Outdoor Photography, Digital Photo....that are monthly magazines and generally have better tips and tricks that any book....problem being since they are UK mags they run bout $10 apiece when they get here but the US seems to be sadly lacking in much thats comparable though Shutterbug is close....... however though i havent checked it out much it appears they may have quite a bit online here: http://www.photoanswers.co.uk/Home/
