Darlingtonia Clay Pot

Hi.I would like to put my new Darlingtonia in a terra cotta clay pot?I read somewhere it was OK.Just wondering if anybody else has done this.Thanks.

Darlingtonia can grow well in terracota pots because the sides of the pot allow water to evaporate, which helps to keep the roots cool. You'll have to increase the amount you water the plant though, to compensate for this evaporation. Also, the pot when kept wet will soon start to grow algae and mosses on it's sides and need regular cleaning to keep it looking neat.

Cheers
Vic

I like letting the moss grow on my pot because I think it looks cool
