D. slackii

nepenthes gracilis

Nepenthes Specialist
Hey all check out the D. slackii from last winter when it was froze solid to 15F.

My plant returned as well from a 2 day freeze at 19F where the pot was frozen solid as was the water in the tray. Just goes to show you cant keep a good plant down. With mine, all the leaves lost their dew, but did not wither away much to my amazement. After a couple of months, the top started growing rapidly, and the plant is currently thriving.

Do the 3 little plantlets look good? Is D. slackii a fast grower when young, will they increase in size much? Thanks!

The plantletts look good. D. slackii is an easy growing species, and you should have some nice rosettes within a couple of months.
