D. natalensis ?

Hello,

I recieved this plant labeled as "sp. 'Zimbabwe, Chimanimani Mnts."  I posted a pic awhile back in the Drosera forum, and a few of you thought that it was a natalensis.  Now, the plant flowered so hopefully that will clarify things once and for all.  Here's some recent photo's.

This is very much like the plant I posted in this thread:

I don't think this can be seen as anything other than an intermediate form of D. natalensis/dielsiana for the styles are atypical for D. natalensis while the lamina are atypical for D. dielsiana. Interestingly, I grew a form of D. natalensis from Zimbabwe which looks almost identical to both our plants, but these did have more apically divided styles that D. natalensis should have. Please let me know if you get seed set, and if the seed proves viable.

Nice! I can`t coment on wether its D.natalensis though as mine is only 1\4 of an in. wide! Lol.

It's a very variable species! I will be interested in seeing which form you end up with.
