I'm planning to repot my capensis, which has developed new growth points. Do they actually divide like Pings or are these simply from the roots or fallen leaves?
Anyway, since I'm repottin, I'm thinking of getting some root cuttings. How do i go abt this?
To divide the plants, just gently pull the newer plants apart from the mother plant. To make root cuttings, find a nice healthy root with whitish-bases and snip about 2 1/2 inches worth. Lay the cuttings on on LFS or peat/sand, keep humid and well lite. They should sprout, but i have never had sucess with capensis
