cuttings

How do i know when its good enough time to make cuttings. this is the plant, it has allready flowered and is working on an upper pitcher.

should i wait for the upper pitcher to open and more to come?

You could make a cutting or 2 now but I think most wait for a basal to form first.
If it keeps growing well and the leaves don't get really small at the growth tip I would just let it grow.
Once it starts to vine it should grow taller very fast.
It does depend on how much vertical room you have though.
Just my experience.
