Cp-safe fungicides and insecticides!

Hello,

After months of everything going great, I suddenly have aphids outdoors, and a white powdery fungus on the soil inside. I've read that Orthene is a good insecticide, but shopping at Home Depot, all they had was Orthenex. Is this the same thing? Also, they had a fungicide with Chlorothalonil (or something to that effect.) Is this OK? With all the brand names (most of the products said something like "Formerly known as Fungex"), it's hard to keep straight. I bought both products, and am wondering if they are safe to use.

the 2 best fungicides thata re evry safe to use on cps i think are cleary 3336Wp and banrot which you can buy here , a few good insecticides safe for cps are orthene , sevin , diazinon and maybe malathion but i wonder why these are not for sell here .
