I asked this question a long time ago about fluorescent tubes, but I'm very curious about the cost of CFs, since I'm converting my lighting back to spiral bulbs. I'll be lighting my terrarium with what has amounted to be my most successful setup to date: 2 30-watt daylight CFs. How much money would you guys venture to say I'll be spending to run this setup up 14 hours a day?
The reason I ask is that I'll be moving to an apartment pretty soon and I want to keep my terrarium expenses to a minimum.
