Chlorine remover

I worked in a wholesaler that had a chlorine removal system. Does it remove anything else, like salts that can kill CP's. I kept a VFT in a tank at work, as a sort of terrarium setup. the plant did well until it flowered. It had lots of light and humidity, but could the water, though unchlorinated, have killed it, or at least put it over the edge after it flowered?

Possibly. It depends on the system they used. If it's an activated carbon cartride water purifier system, then all it does is remove chlorine and some of the heavy metals like lead. Most everything else passes through.
