Cephalotus root cuttings?

Hello,

Has anyone had any luck with Cephalotus root cuttings?  Everything above the soil on one of my plants died for some reason.  The root system, however, looks very healthy.  I was thinking of taking 1-2 inch root cuttings and planting them under 1/2 inch of finely chopped LFS.  Any replies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Root cuttings should be fine, but I would leave it be for now. Cephs have a habit of dying down for no apperant reason, and coming back from the roots later on.
