Caterpillars eating my Neps Grrr!

Hi
This year I have been growing a number of my more robust Nep species in my Sarracenia house. Despite full sun & low humidity they have grown really well

But a downside to having them in a more open environment is the appearance of small baby Caterpillars burying their way into the growing points and stems of some of these plants.

They seem to like the more yellow/light green species, ignoring the more highly coloured ones. One alata is so badly affected I decided to bite the bullet and cut everything back to the woody stem and let it re-sprout. Is there any other way of dealing with these blithers? As unlike the Sarracenia that they also attack, it is much harder to remove them without damaging the plant. Its a pity as I had intended to putting many more Neps out next summer

Any suggestions?

cheers
