Capensis seeds and watering!

Me again,

A friend donated some seed(am I allowed to say that here?) to me last week which I have planted and put into a propagator. Do I let the tray sit in water of should I just give it a little water, let the water soak up, and then water them again or is sitting in water the way to go?

Thanks Christian!!

hi. just scatter the seeds on a mix of peat and sand (moist). both ways of watering works, but to make it easier, let it site on a dish of water.

Be sure to water from the bottom only, or the seed will get buried in the mix. It has to stay on the surface to germinate.
