capensis browning off

My capensis is quite a size and has about 4 plants in the same pot which have grown very well. It ecently flowered and I have cut the dead flowers off only now a lot of the lower leaves have died and it looks ugly. Before it flowered it was lush and green. Will it recover on its own or does it need help? Is it overcrowded in its 4" pot and need seperating? It appears to have new leaves growing but looks tatty.

Flowering could have worn it out a bit,it might be wise to cut off any future flower scapes so the plant can put energy in to new growth,maybe when it has grown a bit and is looking healthy again you could let it flower. Don't worry about the lower leaves dieing-this is natural. Also capensis easily propagate from seed,collect the seed from the dead flowers and sow it in a wet peat mix and cover with plastic wrap-in about 4-8 weeks the seeds should germinate.
