Best time to divide...

I have some overcrowded minibogs and would like to do some rhizome division. When is the best time to do this?

Either when the plants are deep in dormancy in January, or when new growth is about to commence in spring.

Would you use the same type of procedure as with vft's?

Hi,
You can divide Sarras anytime between beginning Jan to early March well before growth commences as late Spring potting could pause new emerging growth. With VFTs, you can divide anytime between March to August the same way as Sarras.
