BBG festival 2012

As some of you know, I have been doing community service at the Brooklyn botanical garden, this fall I have been mainly working with kids in the Discovery Garden. Today we had our "Ghouls and Ghourds" Halloween festival and we were working the "spooky plants" booth so I decided to bring some of my plants for display.

It was pretty nervewracking because of all the kids running around but everything made it out ok .

(I didn't make the label, I'm assuming they are referring to N. rafflesiana var. somethingorother)

I thought that said BBQ festival at first. I was like,"oh hell yes!"
This is cool too though. Wish I would've learned about this hobby at a younger age.
