Are these Corn Lillies?

A neighbor of mine has an infestation of these so I took some home. But we aren't sure what exactly they are. I think they could be Canna or Corn Lillies but I havent seen them flower. The leaves are long and grasslike with streaks of whitish yellow. The base forms a large bulbous caudex with age.

Hm... Perhaps. Seems like Amaryllis has narrower, more erect foliage though. Similar bulb though for sure.

Ah, yes. The Crinum looks like it could be it. I will see if I can confirm it has white flowers. Thanks a lot! It's had me stumped for a while.

Looks like both plants suggested tend to have long, relatively thin leaves. The plant reminds me of a wide-leaved amaryllis, with the growth pattern and the bulb, just the shape of the leaves differing in being stockier than the plants I have.

They tend to be more upright than these. I was told they flower a pinky-purple color which could suggest either genus. :/

get pics of seeds and flowers. will be easier to say then. But for me what made me think Crinum was that long neck between the bulb and the leaves. I see that with many crinum sps.....

Will do, as soon as they decide to flower and make seeds. Probably next spring.

Definitely not Amaryllis. Looks like a Crinum.

Pretty sure they are Crinum however there are some other members of the Amaryllis family it could be, however those are much rarer in cultivation.

I have Amaryllis now and the similarities end at both having bulbs. I'm pretty certain they are not amaryllis. Hopefully they survived the cold temperatures Monday and Tuesday. It didn't get super cold here but it was bad enough that I lost a few things here and there.
