What size terr are you using? Many will get large enough -- if happy with the conditions -- to out grow small 10-15 gal terrs. Air circulation will be beneficial for keeping fungi/molds in check and seems to help keep down spidermites somewhat. Some jewels like Macodes petola can be quite the divas -- if conditions are not to their liking they sulk and die rather quickly.
If you want small pretty orchids that do well in typical terrarium conditions look at Haraella odorata and Aerangis citrata. They both like being moist at all times, and are fairly tolerant of poor air circulation.
