Air conditioner water

Is it safe to use the water that drips from an air conditioner to water your plants?
 
usually so long as theres no debris in it, fine dust and what-not.

That's what I am told, in a previous threaded topic. I keep my cobra lily in a drained container, under the pvc drainpipe. The water is ~60 degrees and it has grown 3 new pitchers in the past month. I should also explain that the plant was in shock just prior to this experiment.
 
Just to be safe, I would get an Ion Reader and test the water... They don't cost too much
