I have recently got hold of an Aerides odorata, and wonder what temperatures it wants, and whether it wants to be kept watered in winter.
The information I have been able to find suggests that it like minimums of 12-15C or so, and is intermediate-growing. However, some of the locations where it grows experience temperatures down to 4-8C. Does anyone have any experience of it at lower temperatures? Or are the clones in cultivation all from hotter places?
