Really interesting article, and even better videos. I had no idea that insects tended to be "water-proof" as one might say.

I'll have to start using the resources my school is subscribed to to read through Nepenthes info. It never even crossed my mind to look for stuff through those.
 
Thanks for sharing. Very interesting experiment/study/article. I might even try recreating the activity at some point :).
