I'd repot it in fresh media.
When repotting it, bury it lower so only an inch or less of plant is exposed.
I have to do this every few years to my Mother plants.
Just my 02¢ worth.

Drosera capensis is a long living good choice. It is readily available, easy to grow, active, and becomes large and showy when mature. It has several varieties, all are worth cultivating.
Good growing,
Mike
Hi,
Welcome to the forum!
I'm about 90 miles North of you in Milwaukee metro area.
I probably have a couple Drosera, or their seeds, to share with you this Spring.
Good growing,
Mike
I received my NASC Auction Special package.
The USPS machinery ate the corner of the bag pretty badly, but the contents were not damaged.
So all is well that ends well.
Thank you
Mike
Here is a Sundew that is not often seen for sale.
Drosera hamiltonii is from Australia in the same region as Cephalotus.
It's distinctive in shape and coloring, I think.
I bought one plant and propagated the others in this communal pot from root cuttings.
You are bidding on the two small plants...
Here is a Sundew that you don't see too often.
This plant was originally from a giveaway several years ago.
You are bidding on mature plant from this pot.
The plants are growing in a 32 ounce yogurt container to give you a sense of scale.
Your plant is a little over one inch in diameter...
