I am having problems coloring up my Red Dragons. I have them in a 25 gallon tank with three cool white flor. bulbs over them. They are about eight inches from the lights, and I have recently added a metalic matte board to the back of the tank to reflect more light. I wish that i could put them...
Has anyone ever tried using live mealworms that you can buy at petco or etc. to feed to their venus flytraps. I thought that these would be great to hand feed to a CP with some tweezers.
I was wondering what people on this board use to decorate the top of their CP soil besides lIVE SPAGHNUM. For example rocks and etc. I would like to do something with the soil, but I have no idea what to do. Thanks!!
Here is what Peter emailed me on this topic.

I am looking to obtain a mature 'Fang' flytrap. Does anyone have one for trade, or might possible know where I can purchase one. All help is welcomed!!!!

I just got finished with emailing Peter at California Carnes about this. I will post what he has to say, that is if he answers me back. I asked him if he still suggests using fertilizers on flytraps. I also asked him about applying it with a cotton swab like BigCarnivourKid suggested. Thanks....
Probably to late, but I have a Minolta Dimage 7 and it kicks some serious @#*. I purchased it off line looking on the site my simon. Got it for at least 300 cheaper.
One more question. I have been misting my plants with a spray bottle once in the morning and once at night. I was wondering if this is acually good for flytraps. I have them growing in pots with saucers and a lower water table. I read that flytraps like lower water tables and was wondering if...
Thanks for all your help. I think I will try it out on one of my common flytraps. I know in the book he says you have to dilute the fertilizer, so I will give it a shot.
