What insecticides and fungicides (and other chemicals) are OK to use on VFTs? I don't think there are any pests on my VFT right now, but I have some other non-CPs around the VFT that have some pests? Thanks

I just got a terrarium and I got a VFT and some other plants. I have heard here about water trays. So I want to know how to make a water tray?

How long does it usually take for a new green trap to turn to its full red color? Days, weeks, months,...?

What do they look like? How big are they? Insect killer isn't harmful to VFTs? Wouldn't the chemicals harm VFTs because they are very sensitive to chemicals?

What's an Aphid, some sort of plant pest? Do they only attack VFTs, or all kinds of plants?

I've read sowbugs aren't good because they have too hard of a shell.

Can you just plant a VFT in the soil. No tray. Just let nature take over?
