LOL, thank you. By the way, I just set my dissertation defense date for April 28th. After that, y'all have to call me Dr. Wickedthistle, queen of Education ;)
Thanks for the well wishes! I had some nice dinners with friends and family this weekend. And took a math test. And now get to work on my dissertation! Ah, it never ends! ;)
Hi all,
I'm one of the members that has been around for awhile, but I haven't had the time to post as often this year.
I grow a bit of every sort of cp, with pings, drosera, cephalotus, and sarracenia being my favorites. I'm also a member of the Los Angeles Carnivorous Plant Society (LACPS)...
Reg,
CA Carnivores has a number of plants for display from Peter's collection, and some that are for sale. Most of the plants you seen in the pictures are from the collection parts because they were the oldest and most dramatic. Ones that are for sale have a price written on the back of the...
Thanks guys! CA Carnivores is a cool place. I didn't take pictures of everything there since there's so much. It's less than an hour from San Francisco, so if you're over in that city it's just a hop, skip, and jump from the Golden Gate bridge.
I got into an Ed.D (it's like a Ph.D.) program in...

California Carnivores
Oddly enough, most of the eggs have disappeared! I did see some fish poking at the breeding net, trying to chomp on fungus. But still...it's very strange. I do see some minature egg-looking things at the bottom of the net, as if the eggs have pulled a shrinky-dink maneuver. Anyway, there is ONE...
Thanks for all of the advice! I was sick yesterday, but dragged myself to the store and bought a breeding net and a nice brushy plant (couldn't find java moss). Placed the eggs in the breeding net. This morning, they looked like they had a lot of fuzz on the outside. I hope it's not egg fungus -...
Thanks for the advice! I'll try and rustle up some java moss and maybe a breeder net if the moss doesn't cover the slats well. Maybe some frozen or dried microworms or brine shrimp - I'm not to excited to think of the stuff squirming in my fridge or counter while I'm away
