I've heard ppl swear by super thrive and I've heard ppl say it's a waste of time. I haven't been able to find any superthrive here so I haven't been able to evaluate myself. I say if it was really that good then it wouldn't have that many doubters.

Yep I've noticed that. I rescued those plants from a cruel garden nursery and looked half dead when I first got them. I rinsed the soil, put them in a sunny location and they have ended up so dewy and healthy looking and I haven't really done that much to them.

there is nothing wrong with chopping the whole leaf if it is still green. As you said in your post the plant is still photosynthesising so is making food for the plant. Chop it off to early and you don't get this benefit. The traps tend to go black first the takes a few weeks for the rest of the...
