    Giant mealworms ==> bugs!

    5 of my giant mealworms turned into beetles!! anyways, im trying to get my superworms to pupate....but i read somewhere that they didnt not turn into beetles, therefore lasted longer...is this true? if not, how can i make than pupate? thanks by the way, they actually bite!! it kinda surprised...

    a frog is sitting on my pitchers

    it just finished raining outside, and when i checked to see if any of my pitchers were knocked over by the rain, i saw a pretty big frog/toad(4 inches) sitting on some of my older, pruned pitchers.  they sometimes urinate right before jumping away, so im wondering if the urine will affect the plant

    keeping giant mealworms alive

    i have been successful at keeping superworms alive...none of them had died, except by my gecko. but mealworms and giant mealworms seem to be dying like crazy...anyone know how to keep them alive, other than sticking it in the fridge? thanx

    mature plant already?

    i got a judith hindle from this site around august. theres one pitcher that has red veins all over it, unlike the other ones. could it be maturing already? it looks like the top part of the pitcher is dark pink from far away. its not fully developed yet, so im not so sure. if it is maturing...

    anyone have one, or seen it? if not, then could it turn out to have wider, stronger pitchers? because when it rains, the water gets filled up in the pitchers and they collapse, knocking down other nearby pitchers as well..i heard somewhere that purpurea pitchers can get knocked over, but stands...

    they are in direct sunlight all day, and they always have been. all four of them are in the same pot, and only one of them has long, semi-floppy leaves.

    straight leaves and long, floppy leaves

    i have four vfts in a 6 inch pot, and one of them has long, floppy leaves, and one has straight same length leaves that stay up about....60 degrees..( about half way between 90 and 45 degrees). the one with the floppy leaves seem to be older. the other two seem to be in the middle. anyone know why?
