I had a flower growing a few weeks agoand i snipped it off, now a new flower stalk is growing, i'll snip it when it is big enough. I just wondered is it normal for it to put out several flowers?

i do what raW does only with a clear plastie bag then flick it repeatedly put it on the window sill and make it crawl onto a BBQ skewer and flick him in!

Today i checked on my VFT and on the surface of the peat, on some places there is greenish flakes. I dont know what it is but i hoped that you guys could try and tell me what it might be a possible cause and the effect and any cure/prevention? I'll try and get a picture soon but maybe yyou could...
yesterday after school, i discovered it had caught 2 more, totalling 6 bugs so i put it in a dome, with only a few TINY spaces yet in the morning a mosquitoe was inside, but he never got caught so I let him go and the silly bugger flew straight into a spiders web!

Over the last 3 days my vfts have caught 4 insects, i fed it one (a weird gold bug) andi left my conservatory door open and 4 blue bottles were buzzin around in there, when i got home from school today 3 traps were closed and they had little black silohettes when i held them up to the light, so...
AGHHH! Its been 3 weeks now, oh well, I'll leave em and get another one soon, anyway, didnt mix in any sand but in the seed packet there was some silver sand so there is some of that on top, can you just use normal sand though?

When I got soome seeds for my sundew, i got a little pot and a tablet of peat with the seeds. It said to soak the peat in warm water so i soaked it in tap water. ever since then i have given it rain water / de-ionised. will the fact that the peat was originally soaked in tap water affect its...
I was told by larry I have a flower bud, is it bad?? and if it is, how do i prune it, ie were to cut etc??? and, what can i do with the bud ie seeds???
