    Woolly cross questions

I certainly have found random seeds (always in small quantity) in dried blooms of Petiolaris dews, but I have always associated it with fungus gnat/mosquitoe pollination in my tank full of Petio.'s. I have not ever gotten one of these to germinate.

    does gibba need peat?

I have seen a gibba-like Utric. in many tanks, in fact some fish people will tell you how bits of it ride in with other plants from commercial suppliers and just take off as weeds in their tanks. It seems to float around aimlessly as an unaffixed plant just eating and growing. Could this be...

Rarely seen WWII tools of warfare

(Donning cheesy truckstop American flag jacket) Yeah I just can't reckon how anybody gets the idea that our government would lie to us. there just hasn't been any hard evidence that's ever happened... I love this one...

Rarely seen WWII tools of warfare

True enough, if Obama announced to the auto manufacturers right now that the only way they would get bailout money under his reign would be by making no car in 2009 with a fuel efficiency of under 40 mpg, then it would be so. Money may not be able to buy anything but if something CAN be changed...

Rarely seen WWII tools of warfare

I have a beautiful woven reed poison dart quiver from a South American tribe that is covered in Swastika like symbols. A friend brought it back for me from French Guiana. Can you imagine travelling down there and not going to see the Tepui's? Different folks, different strokes.

Rarely seen WWII tools of warfare

Public dissent certainly has that potential within our blueprint, the question is whether you can get enough people dissenting to make a difference... like calling for war crimes tribunals for U.S. officials/officers involved in the authorization of or direct use of "water-boarding" against...

    Request: Binata "T" Form

I would not even worry about dormancy with this plant, your specimen will get a lot bigger if you're not choking it back once a year.

    Anyone growing Gum Rock Rose?

Does anyone grow Cistus ladaniferus? This plant has one of the most amazing scents in the plant world (in my opinion). If anyone grows it I would love to get a cutting somehow.

    Fur trade petition, buzzkill

Well, thanks for the clarification, whoever is responsible for making/instigating this video might be harmed if I ever met them--

    Fur trade petition, buzzkill

Well I was aware in posting this that PETA gets people riled up like few other organizations do, but whether you are a hunter or a vegan, or a philosophical anorexic, this is not the way to take an animals hide. It kind of makes me want to skin one of these guys who's just doing his job, in my...

    Fur trade petition, buzzkill

This video has moved me in a way nothing has in a while: http://www.peta.org/feat/ChineseFurFarms/index.asp I do not have a fundamental problem with wearing leather, fur, or any hide. But the removal of an animals hide while it is alive seems so obscenely sadistic, words fail me. Don't watch...
