That is really awesome!
I've considered trying this, but I was sure they would croak. Instead I've opted to just keep growing them in the fish tank. I'm not entirely sure my plants are tropical and not temperate aldrovanda...they've been going strong for years now in any case!...but maybe they...
Well, not a single response. Not even from the person who asked recently about getting this started again. Disappointing. I know from experience that it can be a lot of fun and rewarding to get-together (in person) with other CP growers and trade or sell plants, talk about growing tips, check...
Let's do this. It has to start somewhere. I'm going on vacation soon, to be back middle of October.
Let's plan on having the first meeting at my house, Sunday, October 31 at noon.
I have a greenhouse chock full of CPs, two indoor terrariums, and three aquariums (one with some...

They will probably pollinate themselves. At least mine did, I got seed from them and they germinated. Wait until the seed pod is nice and fat and dark, then take the plant out and pop the pod open. Let me know if anything happens, shoot me a PM.
We bought out plane tickets already, we'll be flying out from Dallas for show. Now we just need to find a free place to stay (probably my at my brother's place in Boston). Unfortunately, bringing plants will be too difficult...so my big tub of aldrovanda won't be there :-(
See you all in a...
You need way more light, even for the low light plants suggested. Your lighting setup is appropriate for a 10 gallon tank, IME.
I recommend getting rid of the current top (I assume you are using the hood that came with the tank (55 gallons usually come with a hood that holds two 20 W bulbs)...
