    B.T. Pesticide

I was wondering if anyone had ever used B.T. on sarracenia before. I would like to kill the caterpillars and aphids this year, but not the bees. Does anyone know if this works on sarracenia or harms them in any way? Any input would be greatly appreciated. For those of you who don't know what...

    Sarracenia pollen

Sorry for being off topic but, Have we talked before gr8oz? I live just south of Winston-Salem. I've only met one other (serious) carnivorous plant grower in NC, but he grows commercially. Maybe sometime later this year we could get in contact...

Nep that you want, but can't have?

No one else is going to mention Nepenthes hurrelliana? I can't find this plant for sale... anywhere. From it's supposed ancestry (Fusca x veitchii) it shouldn't be that hard to grow. And from what I understand it's doing just fine in the wild. Someone needs to go get some seeds and get it...

    Sarracenia X Avatar to trade!

Hi Redflytrap, Only the S x Avatar is mine this time, but I have probably several hundred/thousand of my own crosses growing in my bog gardens. Most of them have yet to show mature characteristics, but hopefully in a year or two more of them will be all grown up :)

    Sarracenia X Avatar to trade!

Hello TF! This year I finally broke down and make a few divisions of one of my favorite sarracenia. I call it Sarracenia x Avatar. I am unsure of the parentage of the plant, all I know is that it does have S. Flava var. atropurpurea in it. Right now I only have one to trade, but I will most...

    Bluish-black Bug ID

Be careful if you grow sarracenia, they will set up nests in the pitchers, chew holes through them, etc. I try to kill them when I see them, as they make my plants look bad :/. Unfortunately they are much harder to kill than caterpillars + mealybugs.

No public health care = no change

"The GOP totaly ****ed over America with this one. People are in dire need of just a little medical attention, and they feel the the need to deny millions help in order to have a "victory" over Obama. Congrats guys, hope it was worth it." I can see what you are getting at Frankie, but have you...
